Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. It includes two sentences from your current read without any spoilers!
Today I'm reading Ariel by Aaron Patterson.
"What would he see in me? I don't really stand out. Then again, why would I want him to notice me? Sure, he's hot, but what else is there to the guy? He probably gets girls falling all over him everywhere he goes. Especially the rechargeable kind, the ones with perky, dumb personalities and nothing to say but nonsense. And guys are so stupid anyway--always falling for blonde hair and blue eyes and cheerleader uniforms. He's probably just like every other guy--just let it go. Ignore him, girl--he's bad news." Pg. 23

Nice teaser, I haven't came across this book before - sounds interesting. Love the cover! :)
Talk about self-sabotage. I feel like I need to give the girl a pep talk. I hope you are enjoying the book. Mine are from Heartless by Gail Carriger and Always a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough. Happy reading!

Love the teaser. I love the cover on this book.
This is my first time participating. Here's my TT.
I'm blonde-haired and blue eyed!! But I don't have, nor have I ever had, a cheerleader's uniform, so think I'm ok!!

Great teaser. I like that she's not blinded by his hotness. I already love the girl! This one looks like a great book, on my to-read list! :)

Young Readers
Thanks for reading. The one thing about Airel is she is real. She makes mistakes and lies to herself just like most of us do... I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did writing. Cheers!
I just added this to my Wishlist yesterday!
I'm in the middle of the book right now. I like strong female leads and enjoy when men can write about women and make it believable. Aaron and Chris do a good job of bringing a teenage girl to life.
