Book Blogger Hop (1)

The book blogger hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word. It's an opportunity to network, make new friends, support each other and share in our love of books. This weekly weekend event is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books. For more rules and a chance to participate, hop on over and grab her button!

This weekend's question is:

If you had $80 to spend in a bookstore right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?

My answer:

Jellicoe Road by Melinda Marchetta
Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead
Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge
The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
Soulless by Gail Carriger

That was a pretty tough question because there are so many books that I want right now. I hope I didn't go over $80. Which books would you choose. Post them at the blog hop so that I can read them too! Happy Friday!!

There really are just so many amazing books that it's hard to choose... Those are some good ones. I've been really interested in The Iron Thorn for a while...

Here's mine!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! :)

I've heard a lot about The Summer I Turned Pretty and I'm definitely going to investigate it. Also, I seriously need to read Vampire Academy. It's been on my to-read list for ages.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm a new follower of yours now. I'm glad I read your post because now I have some new books to add to my TBR list.

If you like vamps, you have to read the Chicagoland Vampires series. I can’t believe I haven’t finished Some Girls Bite yet, but I’m reading River Marked too and have had a super busy week. Otherwise, I would have flown through it in a day. The leading character is a super strong, opinionated, stubborn girl named Merit (my favorite type of character) and it’s full of sexy vampires and other paranormal beings. You will love it!

Wow! What a great question this week. I always peek at other people's book piles at the checkout link at B&N. That doesn't make me a voyeur, does it?

The exhibitionist in me has posted my own bookstore shopping list -- and it's not as predictable as you may think!

Hop on over to my blog for all the suspense and chills of my TBR list - http://www.howardsherman.net

Happy Hop Friday!

I just finished reading Soulless awhile back, and I loved it. It's a great mix of mystery, manners, and steampunk. Well worth the purchase!

Okay, I love your answers. Spirit Bound is unbelievable. Just you wait. I have Soulless in by TBR pile. Ay. There's not enough time in the day for reading - ya know.
Best,
Mina
