Official Kissing Day-Favorite Kiss

As you all know from my post on saturday, I am snowed in. I've been at a friends house since friday afternoon which means I was unable to search through my books to find my favorite kissing scene. I really wanted to post about one of the scenes from A Sweet Far Thing between Gemma and Kartik, but since I cannot get home, I chose a scene between Stefan and Elena from the Vampire Diaries (the TV show). I have not read the book series so I don't know how they compare. Let's set the scene:

Elena lives in Mystic Falls with her brother who has suffered the loss of their parents a little over a year ago. While she goes to high school and hang out with her friends like normal teenagers do, she was very unhappy and still very sad.



Along comes the new student at Mystic Falls High school. The very hot, mysterious, brooding Stefan who is a vampire (but no one really knows that yet). Immediately, Elena and Stefan are drawn to each other and they have this intense sexual chemistry that can't be denied. Just like normal people, they have their ups and downs and after one of their downs, they try to clear the air and they have their first kiss. It's a great scene where they tell each other how they write in their diaries about their feelings. Not only is it intense but it's played Gravity by Sara Bareilles. The Vampire Diaries is a great show and its hot, hot, hot!
